New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit organization. If there are excess margins (also known as profits) after expenses, these amounts are allocated to the members. These excess margins are called Capital Credits. The amount retired (refunded) back to you is based on the amount of electricity you used that particular year.
We have served numerous members over the years. Some of these are now former members. We try to keep our database updated for accuracy, however, we sometimes lose track of where people are once they have left our system. Whether they may have moved or passed away, we need to keep their information updated. So, we are asking for your help to locate these people.
